McCluer - Herman C.

Funeral services were conducted in Bogata, Texas, Wednesday for Herman C. McCluer, formerly of Crawfordsville, brother of Gaylord S. McCluer, 111 South Grant Avenue. Mr. McCluer was 93 years of age. Mr. McCluer was in receipt of a message Wednesday morning informing him of his brother's death. A civil engineer by profession, Mr. McCluer was at different times connected with the officers of city engineers and county surveyor here. He had not resided in Crawfordsville for the past 35 or 40 years. Mr. McCluer was born in Ohio, During his youth, Mr. McCluer attended Wabash college as a member of the class of 1883. In addition to the brother in Crawfordsville, Mr. McCluer is survived by his widow, Mrs. Elizabeth Howison, McCluer; and a son, Gaylord H. McCluer, both of Bogata; a daughter, Mrs. Paul Griffin, and a granddaughter, Anne Griffin, both of Dallas Texas.
